Now that it is officially May people are starting to open their swimming pools to prepare for the impending summer heat. 

It is easy to forget how lucky we are to live in this day and age, because it was not that long ago that air conditioning and clean swimming pools were either nonexistent or only available to the rich. 

So whenever you are taking a nice refreshing break from the heat this summer, take a moment to thank your ancestors for building a world that allows you to take such luxuries. 

Then, after you have stopped to smell the roses, go crazy, close your eyes and jump into the deep end because you deserve to have some fun!
